Payment Methods  Oamaru Cinema accepts Visa and MasterCard credit. We do not accept Amex and Diners. Payment is charged in NZD. Payments are processed through the secure DPS Windcave system. DPS Windcave secures all your customer and credit-card data with military-grade software and servers, and the highest level of encryption available. Oamaru Cinema will not store or transfer any of your credit card information. All data is transferred using DPS Payment Express secure servers.

Online Booking Fees  Tickets purchased on this website are subject to payment of a non-refundable Booking Fee per ticket purchased. Oamaru Cinema reserves the right to alter any and all fees from time to time and without notice.

Censor Warning  Please check the censor warning and ratings before buying tickets. Those under the age restriction specified will not be permitted into the that film which applies.

Identification   Where tickets requiring identification are purchased, Oamaru Cinema reserves the right to insist that suitable photographic identification be presented upon collection of the tickets. Failure to present suitable photographic identification will result in the applicable tickets being forfeited and tickets to alternative suitable shows offered in their place.

Online Booking Confirmation  If you do not receive a confirmation number (in the form of a confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm the Booking. Only you may be aware of any problem that has occurred during the purchase process. Oamaru Cinema will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.

Online Booking Ticket Collection  Your Booking confirmation will be sent via an email to the email address that you entered on the Booking Confirmation page. This confirmation needs to be printed and shown at the Cinema Ticket Counter or you may go directly to the cinema and seat booked but must have your booking confirmation available to show to a member of staff. Alternatively, you may provide the credit card used to purchase the tickets for picking up the tickets at the Cinema.

Pricing and Other Errors  If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect (regardless of whether because of an error in a price posted on this website or otherwise communicated to you), or you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or pre-sale date or you are able to order a ticket that should not have been released for sale, then Oamaru Cinema retains the right to cancel that ticket (or the order for that ticket) and refund to you the amount that you paid. This will apply regardless of human error or a transactional malfunction of this website.

Cancelled/Postponed Events  Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by Oamaru Cinema . Should this occur, Oamaru Cinema will attempt to contact you and shall refund the amount paid as per the policy of Oamaru Cinema. Oamaru Cinema may, at its discretion, refuse to sell tickets to you or withdraw any tickets from sale via this website.

Ticket purchase and billing information  When purchasing tickets through this website you must provide personal details, including credit card billing information. Your credit card details are used for real-time billing of ticket purchases and are not retained on our server. To facilitate your ticket purchase your billing information is shared with our banking gateway partner DPS. 

Electronic email addresses  We will record your email address if you transmit it to us electronically. Your email address will only be used for the purpose for which you provide it and will not be added to a mailing list unless you request or authorise that this be done. We will not disclose your email address to any third party without your consent.
